Address field "cookies" button that shows the number of cookies for the current site...
-
In the address field next to the "content blocker" button, please add an option to show a "cookies" button that shows the number of cookies for the current site. We can click on it to show a menu with options to view cookies and delete cookies for the current site. Similar to the "saved cookies" section in "privacy" settings. This is especially convenient for resetting all cookies for the current site.

@TsunamiZ
more or less duplicate with https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/24235/better-cookie-management (yes ok, the linked feature request is more general) -
@TsunamiZ Doesn't this already exist? I guess it does require one extra click.
Clicking the
Site Info
Padlock next to theContent Blocker
and selectingCookies
should do exactly this.It brings up this window that shows all the cookies for the site and lets you block or remove them.

i prefer vivaldi's interface like in the screenshot, not chromium's interface. and also a dedicated button in the address field.

I agree with @TsunamiZ, for Padlock icon doesn't always work. When I get on google voice site, the Padlock icon brings up more than a full page of options which pushed the 'Cookies' link, at the end, beyond the bottom of the screen, which I have no access to.

@rarlon Yes, this is another case of Vivaldi inheriting the broken + braindead parts of the Chromium UI. Problem is Vivaldi will have to implement their own solution for this so it will take some time to get done.
I have the same problem on my 1080p (150% DPI scaling) monitor. Even on my 1440p (same scaling), it just looks ridiculous, but at least I can access the Cookies dialog.
There is no need to show the options that are already set as default - I have set these myself and I know they are set that way. Only settings that are different from the default will need to be shown.
Alternatively, Vivaldi can use some logic in determining what the site ask for, if it has asked for Mic+Camera through the API then show these as well.
Solutions:
- Only show options that differ from the defaults set in Webpages > Default Permission
- In case the above is not sufficient (in case the user has overridden all the defaults) make the dialog overflow scrollable.
- Optionally detect the Web API feature the site asks for and display the state of those features.
Most likely (and what I hope) Vivaldi will do like Firefox (and like old Opera) and move these Site Settings into its own dialog with a lot more possibilities.
A workaround I use when encountering this issue and I need to access the Cookies dialog:
- Click the first entry ("Location") twice to focus it
- Press
Shift+Tab
four times to focus the Cookies option - Press Enter
Same for Site Settings (3 times), or Certificate (5 times). It's not ideal ...

This is now done. Click on the padlock:
