      Vivaldi 3.7.2202.3 (Official Build) (64-bit)
      Revision 0831ff2723f524c276cf2f5ac99ed8b0068eff73
OS Windows 10 OS Version 2009 (Build 19042.844)

      To close a tab:

Close button that appears when hovering your mouse pointer over the tab.

Go to the application File menu and choose Close Tab.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl W

None of these instructions are working for me + I couldn't drag/drop image from from Note to this page

      Thank you.

      Working today 23 Feb 21 🙂

Today happened to me too, you have to close Vivaldi and reopen it, closing tabs will work again. It's a regression in this snapshot but I can't replicate it systematically, it's quite random.

            My experiences:

            1. The problem with tab closing has just occured after downloading a PDF file.
            2. Workaround: to drag any tab out of the window (i.e. create new window) and close such tab in new window. Then the problem is fixed temporarily (i.e. it's possible to close tabs in original windows) until downloading any other PDF file.

@George2005 if that reproduces the problem, good, report it so devs can study that case, but I never downloaded any PDF today, it just simply happened after opening a site in a new tab, browsing it a bit and the trying to close the tab.

I'm seeing this consistently whenever I try to close a tab whether or not I've just downloaded a PDF. Dragging the tab(s) to a new window let's me choose those tabs, but I have to do that for all tabs I want to close.

                I'm on version 3.7.2202.3.
