How to open Inspect always in a docked window to inspect UI
-
Is it possible to always open Inspect in a bottom docked window?
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thank you.
If I press F12 Dev tools open in docked bottom:
But I only can inspect the page not the UI.
If I click right mouse button on the UI and select Inspect it opens in a separate window and there is no menu to select docked:
What I am doing wrong?

@Gwen-Dragon It is already enabled because I can inspect the UI with the command Inspect in UI context menu.

@Gwen-Dragon Vivaldi browser UI.

@Gwen-Dragon Connect the thread title with the question... can inspect the UI, but only using a separate devtools window (not docked in the V window like with web pages).
@barbudo2005 As far as I'm aware, the UI devtools are always a separate window & it cannot be changed.

Resume:
Inspect a page: In docked window.
Inspect the Vivaldi browser UI: In separate window.

As far as I know, you can't inspect the Vivaldi UI using the DevTools in a docked window/Tab.
That also wouldn't be feasible, as you might want to inspect differenet parts of the UI, like the Speed Dial in one Tab and the Bookmarks in another one. If the DevTools were docked to one Tab, you would need to open several instances of them. -
