Decorative image / logo splash for upper left corner (21/06/10)
-
Just a fun bit of code I wrote which could have some serious use during presentations or more casual use to make the browser more distinct than Vivaldi would typically allow.
It isn't perfect, but damn if it doesn't look good. Thanks to @LonM for helping me out with the tab bar. This style assumes tabs are put on top, with the panel at the left side.

@hebgbs Really nice one! Thanks for sharing the code.
Just one detail to mention :
in the code, you havebackgrund-size: cover;
which isn't working because you typed "backgrund" instead of "background". Not an issue at all because with thecover
, your nice png wouldn't be neatly placed in the corner of the browser -
@hebgbs Itβs also a visual way of checking whether your internet connection is working ^^
-
@Ornorm Why?
It goes too far
-
@Ornorm Because if the Internet is down (and the image is not cached somehow) then it would not load. Though, if the image already loaded then as an indicator it is no good, and if the browser was opened before the image loaded, and a connection were established it wouldn't load the image until browser restart.
So no it wouldn't.

I know I need to fix speed dial, don't remind me. Taking a break from staring at and working on code because that junk's boring and it isn't my day job.

I did it, and it sucks less now.
