Open Tab in background next to current tab.

Hello, I like how Firefox opens tabs better. It opens it next to the current tab you are using. Thanks
-
That option was cloned by FF after a decade it was present on Opera.
Anyway vivaldi has it too, just be sure to have the latest snapshot, then enable it in the settings

HOW? WHERE?
AFAIK, you've answered a good suggestion by making claims without checking them, let alone supporting them.
While we wait for Vivaldi to get wise, we do have a Chrome configuration addon as a glitchy workaround.

just open the setting, Tabs ( vivaldi://settings/tabs/ )
New tab position
after active tab
tick it. -

That's not a wise claim to make without asking. The_Solutor is a moderator with over 2,000 posts to his name. Presumably he knows what he's talking about, or you misunderstood what he said.
Vivaldi 1.3 is the latest final version. Check the blogs to keep up to date with the latest improvements and snapshots.

The title of this thread is:
"Open Tab in BACKGROUND…"
We want to make "Open Tab in background" the default for pressing the left touchpad key.
Currently, we have to use awkward keyboard or menu (third item!) or gesture or addon workarounds. -
The title of this thread is:
Open Tab in background next to the current tab…However, the first post is what The_Solutor answered:

As I thought, you misunderstood what was said. The option is to open tabs next to the current tab.
Left-click on a link will open it in the foreground, while Ctrl + Click, Middle-click, or a mouse gesture will open it in the background. Right-click, Open in background can also be used, though it is the least efficient method.
Please tone down your aggression, stop shouting, and stop insulting users. The_Solutor was right, but you misunderstood what he was saying.
