How Do I Edit Speeddials?

  • Is there a way to edit the speeddials? I want to be able to edit the title and images of speeddials. How do I do this?

At the moment, the editing of the images is possible but rather fraught and involved. Easier thumbnail selection will come in time.

Editing the title is done by clicking on it., which causes it to highlight, and then you can type what you want.

But is there a way to add a webpage you're currently viewing to speeddial easily? The only option I got is to enter the web address in the speeddial page which is tedious.

Also, is there a way to change the tile? For example, on the facebook tile can I change it to a custom image?

Click the bookmark icon (end of address field) then you click the Bookmarks dropdown and select speeddial.

As Ayespy said, there is no simple/easy way (at the moment).

Unlike in other browsers, Speed Dial in Vivaldi is not a special entity. It is a special way to display a normal Bookmark folder - any bookmark folder you select. It can even accommodate hierarchical sub-folders, unlike any other browser. The Bookmarks bar works the same way. Pick any folder to show its content on that bar. So as long as you know the name of the folder YOU have selected to be displayed as "Speed Dial," merely adding the bookmark to that folder from the bookmark icon at the end of the address bar adds it to your Speed Dial.
