still (from fixing bug ~"not show about:blank in url of new tab" some snapshot ago) is for me problematic open tab and imediate type...
after some sec is text selected and (as i still type) cutted previous typed part...
whole problem is i think method used while open tab:- opened tab
- url is (not always) about:blank
- after some sec is url selected
Why is not:akkk
- open tab with selected about:blank
?
or ofcourse, not have about:blank in url of new_tab, not auto select url...
if i set NewTabPage to StartPage, problem is same (only different, not show any url, but after some sec i type, is whole url selected and cutted...)
is this bug reported please?
EDIT: "some sec" is 0.5 - 2s not always same...

@X68000 Translated : I'm saying that I can't delete all the downloaded files at once. Do you understand? I'm asking you to fix it
This is what I understood but you said you did report the bug a hundred times. That's why I ask you to share the bug number (VB number) and ask for an update on the dedicated page@Ornorm said in Tab fixes and a minor Chromium bump – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2165.22:
@X68000 Did you share the VB number somewhere? And did you ask for an update in the dedicated thread? What is the status of VB (=already reported bug/issue)?
(by the way, why do you want us to communicate with you in Japanese now? Not sure you will get more help doing so)

System Notification
(i.e.notify-send
) does not activate for me even if set. -
Thank you for the great work! I see that you have recently upgraded Chromium to 88. Do you have a planned release date for promoting this snapshot as a stable release? The reason I ask is that there is a change in Chromium 88 related to publishing a video track over WebRTC that causes a breakage in a third-party service that I rely on (and I would much prefer that you delay release of this snapshot until that breakage can be remedied). Thanks again!
-
@timezra Upgrading is optional. Stable version updates happen whenever they are ready.
-
@Pesala Thanks, Pesala. I am particularly concerned with the first-time install case here, not the update case. Can you give a rough indication of when the next stable version may be ready for release? Days, a week, a few weeks?
-
@timezra The Snapshot is already in the stabilization stage, so no more features are being added — only bugs and regressions are being fixed. I suspect we should see it within a week or two at the most.
-
@Pesala Much appreciated for the quick reply!
-
@jumpsq Ah, I see that the setting is for calendar only. However, previously it also worked for mail / feeds / all notifications. Can anyone confirm this?
-
@jumpsq Works for me with feeds, I don’t know how it’s by mail. Have you ticked the respective settings?

@Gwen-Dragon said in Tab fixes and a minor Chromium bump – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2165.22:
New in Linux Mint 20.1: Broken Maximize button in window bar.
I've had maximize issues with the Cinnamon DE for a long time with Vivaldi. Particularly, on startup: VB-70960

@boruta I have no idea, but you can add your own if you need them.
-
@boruta I had no problem adding shortcuts. Perhaps those that you tried to use were already in use?

tab a within the tabbar is on automatic reload every 30 minutes. another tab b is set to automatic reload, too, but within a tab group.
when I close vivaldi and open it again, automatic reload for tab a is deleted but tab b is reloaded furthermoreis this a known bug?
Win10 Home -
@juanvase: Yes, but it's still little buggy.
-
OK, I haven't noticed it until now but after installing the previous snapshot on a new machine there are some options missing in the settings, mainly related to the keyboard shortcuts.
I can't find the options to set key combos for:- search for selection (I am using alt+Q on my other machine)
- close other tabs (I am using ctrl+end on my other machine)
- close tabs to the left/right (I am using ctrl+space on my other machine)
- screen capture - select area and copy it to clipboard (I am using ctrl+shift+p on my other machine)

@boruta That’s a known bug, see the discussion preceding this post, & also this one.
