RSS Reader not appearing
-
I enabled Mail, Calendar and Feeds under experiments but the Feed Reader doesnt appear on the side bar. Anyone else having this issue? Am I doing something wrong?
-
I'm on my Linux box now but I had to re-subscribe to my feeds before the Feed reader would show.
Can't recall if the same on Windows.
Check: vivaldi://settings/rss/ to see that you have subscriptions loaded.Hope this Helps

Feeds show up in the mail panel, just fyi
-
@legobuilder26 I have the exact same problem.
Did you find a fix to this? -
@maxizrin Right click panel to enable RSS panel or combined Mail/RSS panel. These panels can only show in one window at a time. Shouldn’t this work, you probably got a more serious issue.
-
@luetage I have unread messages, but clicking them doesn't open.
I didn't have an email connected, so I tried add an email, still not showing.
Now I re-subscribed to the feed, and hopefully that will work. -
@maxizrin You don’t need to add an email account to use the RSS feature. Add RSS feeds in
vivaldi://settings/rss/
, show the RSS panel by right‐clicking the panel container. -
@luetage said in RSS Reader not appearing:
vivaldi://settings/rss/
It says it's on.
I had unread messages but they wouldn't open.
"no message selected"
-
@luetage Never mind, I'm a dummy.
The side panel toggle button disappears, when switching to the RSS / email tabs.
But doesn't close the side panel.It looks like the side panel is still in use as a content browser, but the content is actually underneath the panel (that now can only be closed via keyboard shortcut).
It works, I guess.
When I click the RSS tab:
Then I navigate away, close the side panel, and there it is:
But I still need the side panel to choose which feed is selected... this design is terrible!

@maxizrin Disable »Floating Panel« in
vivaldi://settings/panel/
. -
we really need to be able to set floating / non floating as an option for each panel.
