Themed vs. Native

 • The latest snapshot (1.0.357.5) has removed the themed horizontal drop down menus with native ones. For the light theme this might be negligible but I think it undermines the aesthetics of the dark theme as well as removes the ability to customize it. Before After The condensed menu has this same jarring transition and is one of the reasons I do not use it. Using native elements defeats the point of having a skin and/or theme. Also, you will notice that the native menu is larger in overall size. That's another thing I've never liked about Chrome, their spacing has always been far too big, almost as if every line is double spaced. That is a waste of real estate and not practical for smaller screens.
