No Vivaldi don't resist fingerprinting. Brave don't even block webrtc. Brave don't resist all kinds of fingerprinting like Tor
This is the reply from brave developerWe aren't competing with Tor, we are using Tor as a feature. Brave with Tor does not provide the same level of Privacy as the Tor browser, if your life depends on remaining anonymous, use the Tor browser. If you just want to hide your browsing from ISP, work or school, then tor private tabs are for you. We are just making it super convenient for users to swtich between regular browsing and Tor browsing.
Tor works very hard to prevent fingerprinting. https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/119396/how-well-tor-protects-against-fingerprinting
Fingerprinting works by hiding in the crowd of other browsers, by using Tor in Brave you have a slightly more unique fingerprint than with Tor browser. Thus making you less anonymous. They also develop and know about security issues before anyone else, so they get the patches first and they make their way downstream to other apps. Otherwise we try our hardest to keep you hidden. -

@balachandarsmr Are you sure about that? Have you tried running both of them through https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/ ?
I have Brave on both android and desktop and both offer protection to fingerprinting.

@giosci brave randomises the fingerprint when protection is set to strict
