Android Bookmarks Panel Problem?
-
When i touch the panel icon on Android, i see a view like this:
In this area, there is no mobile bookmarks, I don't understand why. When I click back button on the top left corner (i marked with a red sign), i see this:
There are two files: mobile bookmarks and deleted folder. Interestingly, I can't reach other folders (Bookmarks and Speed dial, found in the other screenshot) until I quit panel and click again the panel button. Why the "mobile bookmarks" doesn't seem in the same folder with "Bookmarks" and "Speed Dial"? Is there a bug or something else?
Also when i click the panel button, it's always appear like first screenshot. In Chrome, the last folder i opened appears. For example, if I use "mobile bookmarks" folder, I have to click panel and click back button to reach mobile bookmarks folder every time.

@ehlimaide When you bookmark some page and don’t specify the folder it is being placed in mobile bookmarks and won’t sync. At least that’s what happened last I tried. Always specify the folder and ignore mobile bookmarks would be my advice. I’d be hard pressed to explain this inconsistency though, they should just remove it and work out the layout exactly like on desktop. Maybe it’s a remainder from the Android Chromium browser, not sure.

Thanks for your reply, it seems that isn't a bug if I correctly understand.
Could you please send your Android browser's bookmark's panel?

@ehlimaide Uhh, no.

@luetage I just wondered, the mobile bookmarks folder only reachable after tap the back buton? Like mine. It's up to you.

@ehlimaide It’s for everyone the same, your install isn’t different. The “Deleted” folder is the synced trash folder from your desktop, which should really show up in the main bookmarks section. The mobile bookmarks folder on the other hand is an oddity bound to confuse users.

Im having the same issue. I do not see the "other bookmarks" folder, and when pressing back on bookmarks page you cannot navigate back to bookmarks unless closing the window and opening the bookmarks.
Small shortcomings like this stops people from switching to other browsers like Vivaldi.
