Window buttons are not aligned with the tabs bar when the window isn't maximized - Debian
-
Hi,
I'm running Debian bullseye.
When Vivaldi is not maximized, the window buttons are not aligned with the tabs bar (see screenshot below).
There is a little offset on top of the tabs bar.

You have three options β
- unset Remove tab spacing in maximised windows β actually, this just reverses the behaviour in maximised windows, but at least itβs consistent
- get used to it β
- remove the spacing in all windows with a modification
#tabs-tabbar-container.top { padding-top: 0 !important; } .tabs-top .vivaldi { padding: 0; height: 30px; }
Edit: if youβre using the Stable version, replace
#tabs-tabbar-container
with#tabs-container
(untested but should work); after upgrading to 3.6 change it back. -
@potmeklecbohdan thank you!
The custom css did the trick.If some of you have trouble understanding where this should go, take a look at the experimental features and turn on custom css modification. In appearance settings, choose a folder of your choice, and create a new css file in it (I called mine vivaldi.css), then restart the browser.
I assume this has been covered in the forum anyway.I don't know if this can be considered "fixed", but it is a working solution. Thanks again!
