Updating snapshot removes Calendar, Mail, Feeds
-
Hi, I just updated my standalone snapshot Vivaldi to the latest version. I might have leftout an update or two in between, since I don't use the snapshot installation every day.
When the update was finished, the experimental feature "Calendar, Mail, Feeds" was disabled and when I re-activated it, my previous settings did not come back. (No worries, it was just a test installation and nothing important)
Is this expected with every update of a snapshot?

@mred There were some issues in past with mail but with the experiment activation, not on its disappear
my previous settings did not come back.
Which settings?
I might have leftout an update or two
Could be related...or not. Some rare bugs happen skipping builds but some others are avoided doing the same.
Is this expected with every update of a snapshot?
I'd exclude it.

Which settings?
The calendar, mails and feeds.
I had some seldom used e-mail accounts, a few feeds, and some test entries in a calendar to play around with.edit: come to think of it, I think I also had a login saved that was forgotten after the update.

@mred Nothing like that happened here. The update was smooth and uneventful, nothing lost.

OK, thanks. It was probably some sort of one-off weirdness on my install then. If anything like that happens again, I'll try to investigate.

Ah ---- Problem solved
Somehow after the update Vivaldi started with a second profile active, and when I switched to the first profile, mail etc was back!
The new weird thing is, I don't remember making a second profile in this install. -
@mred Aha! But...whut?
