Show bookmarks at top of address bar dropdown
-
Hello,
I use the address bar for:
- type URL
- search string
- search bookmark
Is there a way how to change the order of suggestions in the address bar that in the first place will be bookmark? I read the configuration and I have checked this option:
But during writing, I see bookmark suggestion in the second or third place:
Yes, I know I can use the F2 shortcut - and I'm learning to use it, but sometimes I switch unawares to the address bar and typing string for my bookmark.
Many thx for your help.

@waldauf Hello. Unfortunately the auto-complete setting does not control what you see in the address bar drop-down. It controls what addresses are auto-completed as directly in the bar itself.
I don't know of a way to control the order of the fields in the drop-down. I suggest to turn off "Include Typed History" and maybe "Frequently Visited" so that bookmarks are (almost) at the top.

A trick to have a quick access at more used bookmarks is through the nicknames that you can assign at bookmarks.
According you wrote you can write "objed", hit Enter and voila!

@Pathduck I would not like to turn off these features like Frequently Visited and so. But thank you for your answer.

I had this query too. It is useful to see typed history, but I would also find it useful if I could place boomarks on top.
