Two-level Tab Stacks – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2130.3

I updated from 2115.71, which worked fine for me, but this version froze on loading upon trying to render the 2 windows from previously "saved on exit" tiled tabs, one with 4 panes and the other with 2 panes. Mouse and keyboard had no effect on the partially rendered windows. I had to End Task in the Task Manager to escape. I know I haven't given enough debugging details to resolve this, but I am too busy at the moment to write it up. Had to reinstall 2115.71.

@mtaki14: i reinstalled 3 times and deleted all extensions, not work, but i found the problem, is my urser, because if private user the problem not happen

Brilliant! tab stacking FINALLY makes sense and Vivaldi did it first, as it was it was just fiddly and annoying to use on any browser but that neat little row of image and description, just perfect.

The mail client is broken. After adding some accounts (6) and trying to customize labels, I saw this

@nutcracker does the issue persist if you restart the browser? If you could replicate the exact steps, reproduce the bug and create a bug report it would be really appreciated

Good to see VB-75021 fixed, thank you! I think VB-75181, which I reported yesterday, can be considered a duplicate of it (if you haven't already marked it as such).

Feels Opera-Presto style
No way. In Presto I could move the tabs between the stacks and open multiple stacks at the same time - and the screen didn't move when you did so.
Tabs between tab stacks can be moved, you have to click and hold over the "Dotted" and then drag the tab into another stacks.

Yes, I know, but try that with 50 tabs in the tab bar while having 2 tab stacks stacks with 20 tabs each and the tab you ant to move is not the active tab
Additionally it is not possible with the doted tab stacks if the average width of the dots above the tab stack becomes less than a pixel wide. In Presto I could easily have 20 stacks, open (expand) the stacks I wanted to restack, drag that tab easily from one stack to the other and drop it in the position I wanted.
Especially the cursive part is not possible in both of the tab stack implementations.
BTW: The Chrom(e|ium) 88/89 stacking implementation allows for that too.

@QuHno I've never gone to such extreme use, actually in that case it becomes very difficult.
