Two-level Tab Stacks – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2130.3

Regression:
Ctrl + Tab
switch doesn't jump to the previous tab anymore, it jumps to some random tabs. I'm just using usual, non-stacked tabs. Looks like the defaults are changed here? -
@AndreyL See the blog post:

Do you mean is is a feature now that caused regression, or is this not a regression at all?
Also as I've said above, I don't use stacked tabs."Cycle tabs" was always
Ctrl+Tab
, so why was it changed and which shortcut is supposed to do this now?Ctrl+Tab
is a default in almost every software... -
@AndreyL It seems to work OK for me with regular tabs as before. What is your setting for Tab Cycling? Recently Used, or Tab Order? Is the Tab Cycler displayed or disabled?
-
Can someone confirm please: Mouse based Tab Cycling (Right Mouse Button + Wheel) is broken.
Is miss some context menu entries in Window Panel which are available to Tabs and should be present there too. Did not mentioned this yet, I know
-
@joachim-pfaff: To be more specific: Cycling Works but Tab List does not appear.

Can't update Vivaldi for Linux via the provided non-DEB/RPM install script.
I just receive this in console:
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
Could not work out the latest version of vivaldi-snapshot for x86_64; exitingThis is the first time the update doesn't work.
-
@joachim-pfaff The tab cycling bug is a known issue
-
@phyddeaux: Check if you have Settings -> Tabs -> Tab Options -> Show tab thumbnails enabled

I've tried to understand the logic in the related keyboard settings, failed and reset all to default. That seem to fix
Ctrl + Tab
to the "right" action, whatever it iswhich is nowTab Cycler Forward

@dagurp Where can I hide my face in shame?!
Setting > Tab Settings > Show Tab Thumbnails was unchecked.Don't know how I missed that. Strangely enough, whether that option is checked or not, when you hover over a non-focused tab, you get the thumbnail, so the thumbnail is still generated.
Thanks again, especially for the fast response.

I have a problem with this update, the alignment of the tabs is to the right, throwing the trash can and all the buttons above the buttons to close the browser, I also can't use the notes

I updated from 2115.71, which worked fine for me, but this version froze on loading upon trying to render the 2 windows from previously "saved on exit" tiled tabs, one with 4 panes and the other with 2 panes. Mouse and keyboard had no effect on the partially rendered windows. I had to End Task in the Task Manager to escape. I know I haven't given enough debugging details to resolve this, but I am too busy at the moment to write it up. Had to reinstall 2115.71.
