After upgrading both my home computer and work computer to Big Sur, Vivaldi no longer keeps any services logged if I restart my browser. As an example, I used to have to log in to my google account like once a week before, now, every time I've restarted my computer or browser, I have to log in to every account again.. As long as the browser is still active, it works like normal but as soon as I restart, all services get logged out. This was never so before the upgrade to Big Sur. Does anyone know why this is, is there a setting I could fidget with to change this behaviour? Since the exact same behaviour surfaced on both computers upgraded to Big Sur, It stands to reason that it's an issue with Big Sur, but the problem doesn't occur on either Firefox or Google Chrome..

Efter much fidgeting it seems like it's a problem with my profile but even after completely uninstalling vivaldi and removing all library files etc, after logging in and syncing my profile, the problem occurs again. Nothing is saved from my previous sessions. Sites that have the option of "remember me on this computer" etc, all have to be signed in again. Google 2factor auth needs to be reissues every time the browser is restarted. I thought it might have something to do with the "no tracking" settings or cookies but no matter which setting I choose, it still doesn't work. I would really like some help. This makes my browser unusable at work since I have several services that need to remain logged in for my work. What setting can I change?

After much searching I found the culprit. For some reason the cookies settings were set to "session only". I have no memory of changing it but it happened at the same time as I upgraded my system to Big Sur so it never occured to me that a setting would have changed in vivaldi. Anywho.. if anyone else has this irritating problem, this is the settings.. Screenshot 2020-12-03 at 11.04.43.png
