Issue with LastPass in the most recent BETA version

  • In the newest version of the BETA, LastPass will install without an issue, but it is completely unusable. You can go through all of the processes of using it, but it doesn't actually do anything after you authenticate with your master password. A copy of the About page information is below. • I've been using LastPass with Vivaldi without any issues, both on Windows 10 and Windows 7. Clicking on the browser extension brings up the same options as I see with FIrefox and Chrome.

That is interesting. For me, whenever I authenticate for a webpage, it takes the authentication but then doesn't do anything afterwords, such as autofill login information, etc. I have found that if I copy the password for the site, the authentication does work and copies the password and then I am able to login to sites that way, however, it is a pain.

Did you have to do anything special when you installed LastPass, or after you installed it to get it working for you?

  • No, not a thing! It worked fine from the start.

  • Working fine for me as well. I can only suggest removing Lastpass and clearing Vivaldi's cache before reinstalling Lastpass.
