New tab position After active tab not working
-
Hello, hoping for some help please. I am currently on
I skipped the last version and restored windows to an image made before updating as tabs stopped working correctly. I couldn't rearrange tabs and they always opened as last tab.
I updated to the most recent version, and while I can now rearrange tabs, despite having New tab position being set to After active tab, tabs always open as last tab?
Am I the only one? Am I missing something? I can of course rearrange, but I choose After active tab for a reason, and it worked before these last two updates. Any help appreciated

@AGuy Doesn’t work for me either. Never noticed because I’m using “after related tabs,” which works.

Thank you both. Can we/I assume since it's a known issue recently introduced, it's something they are actively (no pun intended) working to fix? Thanks again, at least I know I am suffering with others

I am suffering from this, too. It was a bug in version 3.5.2088.7 and it still is in the latest 3.5.2110.3. Either it is a serious and difficult bug or they are not yet working on it or they just forgot about it or they intend to solve it for us as a Christmas present.

BTW Open Link in New Background Tab works as expected

What a mess. Still not working in latest snapshot 3.5.2115.4.x64. New tabs from favorites or links still open as last tabs. I can't believe it.

@allesimlot said in New tab position After active tab not working:
I can't believe it.
That would probably be because you are not familiar with the fact that there are thousands of bugs and regressions, only a very small team who are not only bug-fixing but also developing new features, and every new regression cannot, because of the physical limitations of space, time and energy, get immediate, or even fast, attention.

@allesimlot Actually, it has partly been fixed in the latest snapshot.
-
@Ornorm Well, that's a start.
