There are complains about those fraudulent votes, but it seems that Official ones has a Watermark that are nonexistent on the others.

          We'll see.

@Steffie I have big faith in anything Oceania, a bit in anything else but much in truth. Justice will have to follow. Mr. President, tear down these "Barrs". 👍

This is a fairly old video, the technology has advanced beyond even these capabilities.

I post from my phone frequently, which likes to change "the" to "three". If you see three or similar, I probably meant "the". I use swipe, so typos can be totally unrelated words to what I intended. Knowing this should help you read through my typos.

@Steffie Yes, I know, but I can't help but be self deprecating. I think it is part of the Canadian genome.

@greybeard IMO self deprecation is vastly more pleasant a trait than braggadocio. Sadly there are some who don't grasp this, & certainly don't manifest it. B Arkers.

@Steffie and self deprecation is certainly better than deprecating others.

@BoneTone Yes & no. In Straya we have an expression which i would be certain exists also across the globe in other word-forms. I wish the imagery was less violent. It is "punching down" vs "punching up". Stand-up comedians, for example, use it as their guide, but IMO it is more broadly applicable in life. The concept is simple:

                                      1. Never "punch down" because that is simply bullying & hence is reprehensible.
                                      2. Only "punch up" because that is speaking truth to power. IMO this is a highly moral attitude & practice, not only interpersonally, but socially per journalism & political / activism movements.

@Steffie Well, I think that so-called punching up comedy, especially when done well, isn't really denigrating someone. In those cases, the people in power denigrated themselves, and the comedians are both calling attention to that fact and helping us process it as well; doing that through comedy is especially effective because people lower their defenses while listening to comedy & laughing.

The first time I saw Trevor Noah live, I described it as a group therapy session. It was hilarious, of course, but at times it was more helping all of us deal than it was about punching anything, or even about jokes. My partner and I left the show feeling better than when we walked in, super excited to see one of our favorite performers.

Better than punching up is pointing out that the people already punched themselves in their faces. That's what makes it comedy rather than just speaking truth (sometimes to power). And, often, comedians will do that in a self-denigrating manner, though certainly not always.

Side note: if you ever have the opportunity to see Trevor live, do it. He's brilliant, with an incredible life experience that gives him a unique perspective. And if you don't know that story, his book is amazing too. We received it as a gift in hardback, but still picked up the audio book which he reads himself. We share the book with everyone we can, and people across the political spectrum love it; partly because he's not partisan, just wise.

I post from my phone frequently, which likes to change "the" to "three". If you see three or similar, I probably meant "the". I use swipe, so typos can be totally unrelated words to what I intended. Knowing this should help you read through my typos.
