Strange web adress/tabs problems in the latest issues
-
In the last 3-4 updates I've experienced problems with getting the web adress in the adress field to reload. If I set the cursor in the web adress field and touch Enter, no reload happens. Just after starting Vivaldi there seems to be no problems. The websites in the tabs load when I click on the tabs. If I wait a couple of hours without clicking on the tabs, the tabs refuse to load the sites.

Let me add: The Reload button refuse to work as well.

Yes, along with background tabs from previous sessions not loading, I end up getting stuck with tabs that look like this:

This makes Vivaldi unusable. I guess it may be due to using the 64 bit "experimental" release?

The tabs won't load/render. You can't use the refresh button (greyed out). You can click into the address bar, but hitting the enter key (to go!) also does nothing. I don't know why others aren't complaining. Maybe it's only as I said, the 64bit version? This is the third release in a row with this issue

Also worth noting that I did a clean uninstall and reinstall to the latest version.
Now I'm also noticing that it doesn't always remember the tabs I've just closed before closing the browser. When the browser starts up again, it shows some tabs that I closed before closing down the browser.Very weird behaviour.

I am using the 32 bit version.

I realize it is no help to you but :-
I'm on Win 10 Pro and Vivaldi (64-bit) every snapshot since Snapshot 1.0.298.15 !!
I have never seen this problem. However, try following GwenDragon's advice in https://vivaldi.net/en-US/forum/vivaldi-browser/7385-vivaldi-won-t-open
to check with 32 bit version!? -

I have never seen this problem.Yeah, I have had Vivaldi since for quite some time (Don't know the actual release version, but Chrome is showing me Vivaldi_TP_1.0.83.38.exe download from back in the end of January 2015… has it really been that long?).
I also, never had this issue until three releases ago - and I have been updating with every snapshot along the way.
I'm on Windows 7 Enterprise if that makes any difference. However, try following GwenDragon's advice in https://vivaldi.net/en-US/forum/vivaldi-browser/7385-vivaldi-won-t-open to check with 32 bit version!?
Yep, good idea! Will try the latest 32bit and revert.

I created a bug according to the bug wizard for this.
I can confirm that the latest snapshot without this issue is the 1.0.321.3 version. It happens for me on x32 as well as x64 on the three snapsnots greater than mentioned above.
