@npro You forgot all the steps where you have to tell windows that it's OK to trust the file you just downloaded.

@npro There is also a snapshot install script for Linux users on any distro (That is also linked above in the main blog post). It even handles upgrades if you used it previously.

well I wrote it, so I don't blame you

Then again I also wrote the packaging scripts for Vivaldi on Slackware, so you will still have to run my terrible code!

[Keyboard] Single key shortcuts leads to changing tab on some input fields (VB-72174)

This seem the same bug I filed as VB-72608, and it's indeed working now, I can enter a text on a search field, and backspace or Z (and any other single key) work again, without having to press Tab before. Nice.

@Ruarí while the first part is true 😄 , I appreciate the second 👍 😎

/edit: why can't we have this picture as the replacement for the cool emoticon in this place? Default is just un-cool cool if you know what I mean 😉 . I think I'll start a petition!

                            Brilliant! 👏

Except... now you're stripping the trailing slash when typed in or selected from the drop-down :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:

@Steffie maybe it's another time some of the Vivaldihooks interfering? It happened before. I updated from previous snapshot both my win7 at home and win10 pc at work, reapplied Vivaldihooks, and everything's fine for me, but it could be an hook I don't use.

@iAN-CooG Indeed yes. I rolled back to the default browser.html & relaunched ... successfully now ... so i need to deduce specifically which one suddenly is incompatible.
