Youtube dead birdie

There could be some issues with your addons (edit: extensions), if you have them. Although vivaldi is compatible with most of them not all of them work at 100%. Easy way to find out is to disable all, and if it works, then 1 by 1 to see which one.
:smile -
@GetShalked I disabled all extensions and restarted the browser - no difference.
BTW also Facebook is acting like a dead parrot. -
@Gwen-Dragon Aha, thanks for the info.
My Chrome is v84 and still has Youtube working, so for now I'll resort to that for video's.Does this mean I should watch the Mint-forum instead of Vivaldi?
-
@Gwen-Dragon How is that possible if it works ok with chrome.?
-
@Priest72 Chrome ≠ Chromium.

Same problem here. Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64 bit, on Ryzen 7-3700X and Radeon RX460.
Some sites die with dead bird.
For example Playstation.comVivaldi 3.4.2066.76 (Stable channel) (64 bit)
No problems with previous version, it was very stable on Linux.

@Gwen-Dragon said in Youtube dead birdie:
paste the content to the bug report
Where/how does one do that?
-
@Gwen-Dragon Thank you, I'll go there asap.
I just noticed, BTW, that one gmail-account works normal, and my second account is affected by the birdie-phenomenon.
-
I've got the same problem on Kubuntu 18.04.5 LTS, i5-2500K, Radeon RX570.
Trying to play a Youtube video causes a dead bird crash. Gmail crashed once the page appears to be fully loaded as does Facebook. Netflix and Amazon Video also crashes.

@Gwen-Dragon aha..! I updated Vivaldi and.. all's well - working as expected
