HDD vs SSD? -
@zalex108: Thank you. But alas, that is not helping me. I look where you say to look and see three possible paths (Command Line: /usr/bin/... Executable path: /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/vivaldi-snapshot and Profile path /home/$user/.config/...) and none seem to have what is needed to make the modification. I know that logically this cannot be the case. Is there a guide someone has written?

Find and follow Install Path on Explorer.
Then access til user_files
Vivaldi\Application*3.4.2066.70*\resources\vivaldi\user_filesOr search for Filter_Sepia on V installation data folder.
The number version would be different if it's not currently updated and then, after every update.
There you can rename the files.
-
@zalex108: Explorer? Not on this OS. I think that might be the problem with the path guidance.
-
@Zalex108 He's a PC noob on Linux...
-
Well,
What would be the generic definition for them despite the OS.

Ok,
File Manager for clarity. -
@npro: It can seem like that, I'll grant. I have YET to find any path that includes even the version number - which should rightly be a trivial thing to do.
Aha!
HERE it is:
/opt/vivaldi/resources/vivaldi/user_files/
-
Good!
Ok,
If not mistaken, files are the same on every Desktop version, though also the same for folder's structure.Well then, backup the files and rename / delete.
-
@zalex108: Just tried renaming, and restarting. NO effect.
-
@zalex108: Correction. Evidently I need to find the set for the snapshot (which I usually prefer to use). There IS an affect in the non-snapshot version.
-
So,
It works?V has to be closed to do that kind of modifications safetily.
It would be unnecessary in some occasion but assure before to have a backup.
-
@zalex108: THANK YOU. Unlike... someone... you've been genuinely helpful!
I now have...
Y Reader View
Z Filter Invert...nicely placed for minimal pointer travel.
-
Keep the COC.
I didn't remember about the CSS Styles, Pesala gave the entire info to help you.
-
@zalex108: From YOU I got honest help rather than abuse.

who got to Vivaldi and convinced them to embed a game in the browser? this is a senseless move. There are tons of browser games available outside of vivaldi and we can go visit a site to play them whenever we want. And I agree with @longjon below that it appears to be a complete lack of sense of prioritization.
a 2d-platformer: not exactly unique. there are hundreds of them. What are you trying to prove by adding this. How could the most flexible and powerful browser I've ever found have something so pointless embedded in it. And how do I turn this off to save the memory it wastes.
