@zalex108: Thank you. But alas, that is not helping me. I look where you say to look and see three possible paths (Command Line: /usr/bin/... Executable path: /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/vivaldi-snapshot and Profile path /home/$user/.config/...) and none seem to have what is needed to make the modification. I know that logically this cannot be the case. Is there a guide someone has written?

                          @Vakkotaur

Find and follow Install Path on Explorer.

                          Then access til user_files
                          Vivaldi\Application*3.4.2066.70*\resources\vivaldi\user_files

Or search for Filter_Sepia on V installation data folder.

The number version would be different if it's not currently updated and then, after every update.

There you can rename the files.

@zalex108: Explorer? Not on this OS. I think that might be the problem with the path guidance.

                                Well,

What would be the generic definition for them despite the OS.

@npro: It can seem like that, I'll grant. I have YET to find any path that includes even the version number - which should rightly be a trivial thing to do.

                                    Aha!

                                    HERE it is:

                                    /opt/vivaldi/resources/vivaldi/user_files/

                                      Good!

                                      Ok,
If not mistaken, files are the same on every Desktop version, though also the same for folder's structure.

Well then, backup the files and rename / delete.

@zalex108: Correction. Evidently I need to find the set for the snapshot (which I usually prefer to use). There IS an affect in the non-snapshot version.

                                            So,
                                            It works?

V has to be closed to do that kind of modifications safetily.

It would be unnecessary in some occasion but assure before to have a backup.
