Vivaldi browser launches configurable context menus, periodic page loading, and a built-in arcade game

I don't know if this is new (doubtful), but it's fatal:
vivaldi://notes
Click the "Site info" icon in the address bar
Click Site SettingsYou might ask why do that. I was just checking to see if there was a way to disable spellcheck for Notes (I think the answer is no).
I haven't seen this happen on a couple other internal pages I tested later, but there may be others.

I've realized something that could be an small error. I was trying to play Vivaldia but I play badly. So I wanted improve it connecting my Logitech K400 to phone.
I've set it up on Physical Keyboard (Spanish layout), works fine with before tasks even on browser typing the URLs but on game only works the arrow keys, nothing else. No spacebar, no [W][A][S][D], no fire [N][M].
It's weird. When your keyb layout is wrong all keys works, just some keys are assigned to other characters .
I wondering if the game haven't a keyboard support...could can be too soon to connect peripherals to play Vivaldia.

@chas4: There is very little point for periodic reloading the speed dial (or any other internal page). Why not just put a reload on https://apod.nasa.gov?
No no, it's not a periodic reload of the speed dial page, it's a periodic reload of the speed dial thumbnail. At least that was my understanding and I think it could be very useful.

This update broke my separate profile icons on windows 10. I have 2 profiles, one for work, one for personal, now both icons are the vivaldi icon when it is launched
-
@heedfulCrayon I assume to fix it that you can just modify the shortcut's icon. There is already a known issue that this release doesn't stick to previously pinned shortcuts on the taskbar, so it's probably related.

Will there be a an update where the improved Speed Dial layout on Android will be available for the desktop as well? Would be glad if such a feature would come to the desktop as well.
-
@BoneTone Aaah, then I understand. Interesting idea.
-
@Alacho Back on the old Opera Presto days I have that in Speed Dial set to reload 1 time a day so you could open Speed Dial and see a refreshed screenshot of the page with the new image for the day. Putting it in a separate tab requires you to have another tab that you would have to find and that would use more memory.

No problem here. Just shows Vivaldi privacy settings...
BUT... if I right-click on the address bar of the notes window or on a note itself and then click spellcheck -> language settings - then it seems to block settings from appearing until I close the notes window again. Is that what you meant?
Edit: never mind - I was doing the security icon, not clicking the Vivaldi "site" icon. In that case, site settings = instant crash.

In closed tab menu, "Restore All" of "Window with x tabs" does not work.
It restores just one recent tab. -
@tree1891 I don't think this has been reported, so you should file a bug report.

@Gwen-Dragon Ah, that's quite far ahead of what they released this week (86.0.4240.77). It might even stay ahead of the next bump they make, but knowing the way this usually works it'll probably be .102.
You were so wrong! It's .111, with 5 security fixes:

Nice features. I want to configure context menu on page, is this possible? I want "Open link in new background list" on the first position (like in Opera).
Another question - it is possible to remove "windows folders" from Window sidebar if there is only one window opened? There is wasteful space on the left side of each item in list. The V7 Tabs extension from Opera is much usable and better styled.
And is it possible to hide unnecessary label "Window" on top of the Window sidebar?

Next week you will have an option in the settings to open new links in backgrounds by default. Also Speed Dial menu & Address bar buttons context customization, and don't forget for next week that you will be able to also check the new integrated e-mail-RSS-calendar features which work pretty well (still work-in-progress though)

Nice... but how to stop the automatic reloading of pages? Seems every time I click on a tab I have to sit there waiting for it to reload, which entirely negates the point of having a tabbed browser
