Will there be Periodic Reload for Speed Dial (https://apod.nasa.gov/ would be a good use for reload every 12 hours)?
-
I would just like to say a big thank you to jon and team for the continued support of the 32bit linux builds.Other vendors are jumping the 32bit ship but nice to see vivaldi is keeping us 32bit souls afloat.
Latest version is running on calm seas and is a trouble free journey.Thanks.

The Winareo Blog reports many positive things about Vivaldi 3.4: https://winaero.com/vivaldi-3-4-is-here-with-a-bunch-of-new-features/

@Gwen-Dragon

This would be a goof feature request to submit, if it hasn't been already. I'd up-vote it.

Also the German Computerbild reports: https://www.computerbild.de/artikel/cb-News-Software-Vivaldi-Browser-3.4-27948349.html

I would like Capture Page with option to upload directly to some internet image service, like Lightshot do. Because almost every time when I need capturing something, I need it online, not on my PC.

Did .72 to .76 offer any relevant changes, or is it just to signify release instead of pre-release?

Will the menu you open become customizable when you right click on a website?

Seems that the congigurable menu doesn't work with webpage and link context menu. These two are my most used ones. Any plan to support them in the future?
-
@okaybadger Yes, but they are the hardest to do, so others were done first.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Ah, that's quite far ahead of what they released this week (86.0.4240.77). It might even stay ahead of the next bump they make, but knowing the way this usually works it'll probably be .102.

Perfect... So happy to have you Jon
What about page context menus... When you right click inside an open tab? Can we change them too?
-
@chas4: There is very little point for periodic reloading the speed dial (or any other internal page). Why not just put a reload on https://apod.nasa.gov?
-
@senja: Why not use copy directly to clipboard and paste it where you need it online?
-
@senja How about setting your capture folder to DropBox in Settings, Webpages?
-
I wonder what's next, but i like to have more info on speed dial thumbnails, like favicon. If they are small it's hard to remember position where everything is.
-
I don't know if this is new (doubtful), but it's fatal:
vivaldi://notes
Click the "Site info" icon in the address bar
Click Site SettingsYou might ask why do that. I was just checking to see if there was a way to disable spellcheck for Notes (I think the answer is no).
I haven't seen this happen on a couple other internal pages I tested later, but there may be others.

I've realized something that could be an small error. I was trying to play Vivaldia but I play badly. So I wanted improve it connecting my Logitech K400 to phone.
I've set it up on Physical Keyboard (Spanish layout), works fine with before tasks even on browser typing the URLs but on game only works the arrow keys, nothing else. No spacebar, no [W][A][S][D], no fire [N][M].
It's weird. When your keyb layout is wrong all keys works, just some keys are assigned to other characters .
I wondering if the game haven't a keyboard support...could can be too soon to connect peripherals to play Vivaldia.

No no, it's not a periodic reload of the speed dial page, it's a periodic reload of the speed dial thumbnail. At least that was my understanding and I think it could be very useful.
