@ch3f The things is I don't know what the code is to change the "Settings" favicon alignment.!
This screenshot show both problems Im having.
edit: fixed alignment issue...no onto the other.
also thanks @Pathduck @potmeklecbohdan for the replies .. incidentally how do I dark mode this forum? seems Dark Reader has been blocked...

@ch3f As @potmeklecbohdan said, you will have to share your code, if you want help.
-
just want a nice perfectly square edged application window.
This code gets me close. As you can see from the code I need a 1px boded that is #626261 in color to match the unchangeable border on my terminal app (iTerm).
code:#browser { border-radius: 0px !important; /* border: var(--windowBorder); */ /* border-top: 0; */ border-left: 1px solid #626261; border-right: 1px solid #626261; border-top: 1px solid #626261; border-bottom: 1px solid #626261; padding: 1px 10; padding-left : 1px 5; padding-right 1px 5; padding-top : 1px 5; padding-bottom : 1px 5; width: calc(105% + 20px); height: calc(105% + 20px); -webkit-border-radius: 0px; -moz-border-radius: 0px; border-radius: 0px; background: #626261; }
edit: yes I know my code is messy, I plan to clean up the whole script once Im done.
-
@ch3f Well, that code has nothing to do with the tabs/favicons, and it is obvious from your screenshot that you’re messing with them.
-
are you ok!! I said the alignment issue was fixed!.. If you read my initial post, the 2nd point...oh nvm..
and regarding the screenshot it also shows..guess what.. the corner radius..at least my progressing on removing it; in my last post at I posted the code used to try and remove said radius.

Oh, sorry, my mistake.

As I said, I don’t think it’s possible. Does any other app have straight corners? (Not that if it has I could help, just interested if at least normal apps can do this.)

It’s funny, I remember complaining when they introduced the border radius on the macOS version, joking it would all go downhill from here and the browser would look like Chrome in the end. Now on LInux the window border is completely square and I somehow miss the roundness. Can’t get no satisfaction.
-
I know a few years ago disabling the AppleCoreUI would result in all rounded corners menubar included to lose there "roundness".
defaults write -g AppleUseCoreUI -bool false ; killall Finder
I haven't used this since Lion haha, if anyone on Mojave or Catalina is brave enough to try lol...
-
should note just tried it on High Sierra but nothing happened
found this in MacPilot :
defaults write NSGlobalDomain AppleUseCoreUI -bool false
brb (hopefully) going to try...
im back.. nothing happend..again
-
Anyone interested in giving this a go
Also check the Github link at the bottom.

Tried it on Catalina and it works! very simple to do.
