How to hide 'Add Bookmark' button in Address Bar.
-
Hello,
I like having a cleaner look, and I don't use bookmarks so the little 'Add Bookmark' button in my Address Bar is annoying. I've combed through common.css and I can't find where it is. I've managed to hide the functionality of the button but not the button itself.Any help would be appreciated.

This hide it when you don't need it, mouseover it to show button:
.UrlBar-AddressField .button-toolbar.create-bookmark:not(:hover) {opacity:0 !important;}
or you can use
.UrlBar-AddressField .button-toolbar.create-bookmark {display: none;}
to remove it permanently. -

Neither of these seem to be working.Somehow, copy/paste did not work as expected, and broke the code. I retyped my heading and it worked.
/*Hide Add Bookmark Button*/ .UrlBar-AddressField .button-toolbar.create-bookmark {display: none;}

I can't seem to get it to work. What should I do to troubleshoot?

@Wrathy Update to the latest Vivaldi version and the code will work. Shouldn’t this be the issue, you have made either a copy/paste error, or there is a problem with the way you implement modifications.

@Pesala I think this is vivaldi copy/paste problem which happen in random forum... Is this a confirmed bugs?
-
@dude99 I have no idea what is going on. I didn't think Notepad2 even supported bold text, but this is what happened when I copied from your post.

@Pesala I noticed sometimes some text are missing after I drag & drop selected text inside textbox... I thought it's just the forum bug, but if it also happen to others then it might be Vivaldi's bug?
Not sure which, if it's the forum bug or the browser bug.
