@martinvonasek
Hi, are you really use 1.0.344.37?
Vivaldi stable is at 3.3 now, I guess nobody can check this.
If you want to update backup your profile, I am not sure what happen if you update from such an old version.
You can try the snapshot version, it use a different profile directory in .config.Cheers, mib

Google says:
Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS reaches the end of its five-year LTS window on April 30th 2019 and will no longer be supported by the vendor (Canonical). This means that this version of Ubuntu will no longer receive security patches or other software updates.
Maybe a good reason to try something "new"?

Sorry - it is my mistake, I followed up on my contribution from 2016. Actually I have Ubuntu 20.04 and 3.3.2022.39 (Stable channel) (64bit). It is annoying to use 2 different window to login Khandacademy - via google it works only in private window. Thanks for your help

@martinvonasek Have you ever reset your profile in these 4 years?
-
Do you ever clear history and cookies/cache?
I have no problem logging in to khanacademy using my google account and latest Vivaldi 3.3.2022.45 (Stable channel) (64-bit) on Xubuntu 18.04.
Try starting Vivaldi via terminal with a fresh default profile and signing in to http://khanacademy.org/
vivaldi --user-data-dir="/tmp/vivaldi-test-profile/"
