Vivaldi removes trailing slash when editing URL, stop please?

@Gwen-Dragon Thanks for the info.
What happened with VB-71838? I'm guessing this is "working as intended"? I.e. just copying Chromium's behavior?
Opera, Edge (old), Firefox all show trailing slash on a domain:
Why won't Vivaldi? Because it's "prettier"?

I haven't seen anything to indicate that
@Gwen-Dragon said:
A dev said, the missing / is intended and a / will only appear if there is a parameter (all after ?) in URL.
I dislike this.I think this indicates it, does it not? Or maybe we are talking about two different bugs, but I was referring to the original issue.

@gwen-dragon It's not fixed.
Going to
https://example.com/
results in this:So IMO not yet fixed.
Opera + Firefox still does the correct thing and keeps the slash, they even add a slash if it's missing from after the domain...

@gwen-dragon Yes the
VB-73807
report dealt with the issue below (which indeed is fixed) so I understand the confusion. Gif from original report:VB-71839
however dealt with Vivaldi removing the slash from after the domain which I believe is ugly behaviour, makes it difficult to edit URLs directly, and is different from what other browsers do, just because Chromium developers think domain without a slash is "prettier" for users to look at.It was supposedly fixed in 3.5 but I gave feedback that it was not.
I got the impression that this was more of a "won't fix/working as intended" case so I let it go...

@gwen-dragon OK I reported it again as
VB-79518
Thanks for confirming
