Several of these fixes will be backported to the stable 3.3 version in a minor update, assuming no new issues. So test carefully!

Actually, to be honest they are somewhat related because VB-71346, VB-71382, the Linux codecs update, and VB-71440 are all bugs we are likely to backport to 3.3 stable in a future minor update. Hence they need some public testing.

I strongly suspect there will be a minor Chromium bump too, with security fixes. So expect another minor update before the week is out.

Thanks for the VB-71391 fix 👍

I still notice the page will "steal" focus on finishing page load, which it did not do in 3.2. The user should be able to start editing the URL while the page is loading and not lose focus if the page finishes. Manually focusing the address bar should override any page/urlbar focus setting. ED: Reported as VB-71538.

Still hoping for a fix for VB-71326 (Web panel favicons) as well as the download dialog cancelling (VB-71405, VB-71407).

[New][Quick Commands][Keyboard][Gestures] Add (map-able) tiling commands: prioritizes 1) current tab selection, 2) current tab stack, 3) active + last visible tab (VB-71223)

                    I don't get it.

[Break mode] Favicons for pinned tabs are not hidden (VB-71382)

Also, the colorization for the bookmarks bar, during the break mode is broken on Dark themes.

BTW, I've submitted a bug (which I think it's a regression, but I'm not sure if it got fixed in the past).
Crash on "Are you sure you want to leave this site" dialog - VB-71496
This time, I've attached a .dmp file, which I hope it helps

When executing a shortcut to tile tabs:

                      1. If tabs are selected, tile them
                      2. If active tab is in a tab-stack, tile the tabs in the stack
                      3. Otherwise, tile the active tab with the most recent active tab

@pesala: Yep, and thanks for clarifying. I probably should have written a little more.

P.S. That last one is great for my own workflow. It was what I was often doing manually before now.

I just reported one strange thing happening after opening a Guest Profile but also happens on a 2nd profile just created for testing.
"C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\debug.log" gets appended with many
                          [0907/215635.528:ERROR:crash_report_database_win.cc(469)] failed to stat report
9000 lines, all the same error)

Favicons for extension pages now show a default 'missing' icon, when they used to have no favicon at all (which I preferred). This is after updating to 3.3 stable.

                            Here's a screenshot of 2 extension tabs (1 is pinned): https://i.imgur.com/zRKQpJV.png

I see that there are tiling command improvements. I especially think automatically tiling active and last visible tab makes a lot of sense. I just want to point out that tab selection with keyboard still doesn’t work out as expected, which is somewhat connected, if you wanna tile tabs efficiently (VB-70433).

Not sure if it started with this update or one of the last two, but (fairly recentely) if you click the down arrow in the search field (next to the address bar), the drop-down list doesn't disappear if you click away from it anymore. The address bar drop-down list still will disappear when clicking away, but the search bar stopped doing that. Pretty sure I used it within the past week, but can't be sure.

@Hadden89 No, it’s about killing the bug that was killing tabs that should survive.
