Middle click option?

  • Hello, When I middle click on a link I get a new tab in the background? Is there any way to middle click and it pops up right there in the foreground?

Just a regular click opens it in the active tab. Right-click has a "open in new tab" option that focuses the new tab as soon as it opens.

  • Shift + Click opens the link in a new foreground tab.

Shift + Click opens the link in a new foreground tab.

Ah. Another helpful tip to put in my toolbox.

Shift + Click opens the link in a new foreground tab.

    Or there's mouse gesture [DOWN].

I just wish there was an option (new tab foreground) that worked with Speed dial!

Another tip worth noting. It's not listed in Settings, Mouse.

What's the problem with Mouse Gesture down, then open the speed dial to get it in a new tab?

Personally, I don't see the point of wasting a tab on Speed Dial until I need a new tab, but that's your choice.

  • Sorry if I wasn't clear, I don't mean to open Speeddial!
I mean with speeddial already open, I want to click on one of the "thumbs" to open the link in a new tab (in foreground)!.

It seems that however the thumb is "clicked" we can only
    a) Open link in new tab (in background)
    b) Open link in current tab (losing speeddial tab)
    c) Re-open speedial in new tab in foreground!

I don't see the point of option c) and would prefer the link to open!
