Android Vivaldi Fullscreen button bug
-
I have witness that many websites are not supported to view full screen video on landscape mode. In fact, sometime I have to force my screen to rotate in landscape mode to see video in fullscreen.
I tested it on YouTube mobile site version of fullscreen mode on automatically rotate screen on fullscreen it is working. But, for some it is not.
Therefore, I think you people check Pure Browser from Google Play store. It is the only browser which I find best suited for watching videos from any website. Whenever, I press fullscreen button the square one for every sites in the world it automatically rotate screen in landscape mode which allows user to see video in fullscreen.
The same issue has been detected in android version of chrome browser can you confess guys that you have not copied chrome browser. Because all the bugs from chrome are detected in android version of vivaldi.
Secondly, in some websites navigation bar button such as back, home, and application drawer button are not getting invisible when I watch video on fullscreen. Too many chromosomes bugs are witness I believe you have just provided additional functionality over chromium platform while your tester team feel lazy to do exhaustive bug testing.

Hi, I don´t understand what you want to say with this post.
Vivaldi is based on Chromium but the Vivaldi team cant fix Chromium bugs.
When you think you find a bug in Vivaldi, report it please.Cheers, mib

Can you try to play videos in from many different sites apart from YouTube, Dailymotion and Vemo.
-
Press fullscreen button and see the video open in portrait mode or in landscape mode

Let me know your results in the comments

Perform same experiment with Pure browser and let me know your results.
Because there are many android browsers which are based on Chromium technology that has solved so many lagging of Google Chrome browser such as enhancing video streaming capabilities, keep screen turn on button and many more.
The only reason I am interested in Vivaldi is sync option which are available on those browsers.
This post is related to enhancing streaming video capabilities in Vivaldi which it is lagging drastically. If those adware browser can unflag Chromium bugs then I don't believe Vivaldi team can't

@Gwen-Dragon You are very close to get my point with exception YouTube, Dailymotion and Vemo, most of the sites are suffering. I played the video and press the fullscreen button the video will play in portrait mode. To make video works in landscape mode I need to press auto rotate button from the navigation bar. For example, I am watching random videos from porn sites everytime for each video I have to auto rotate if within an hour I watched 4-7 video that effort is too much. But, Pure Web Browser has this functionality any websites in the world they video goes automatically on landscape mode when I press fullscreen button. How did they crack it I don't know but they don't have sync features.
I feel very sad did Vivaldi testers have not encountered this issue. My review on Pure Web Browser in Google Play store:
Finally I was able to find the browser where even Google Chrome failed. Two features I was looking for which allow videos to open in landscape mode when I press fullscreen button instead of opening in portrait mode from any other websites which it did pretty well even chrome failed to do it. Secondly, allow website to open in desktop exactly it should open in PC without misalignment which it did pretty well. Awesome Pure team beat the Chrome. -
Thanks
