I have to lift this. a schedule is a way to become an easier life.. make everything easy and easier.. quite surprised. many amazing features in vivaldi. but simple features like that are actually missed. I just realized because I just tried it. I do not like that feature. because in my opinion it is coercion. or not natural. haha

+1 for this. There's no point of making Vivaldi UI to follow system theme, if the web page don't turn dark/white as per system theme.

+1 I will cut some slack because other apps don't worry about webpages. Being a browser, it's definitely more work just for dark mode. Thanks for adding it to the pipeline.

We just got dark mode for websites in iOS a short while ago and I was initially baffled why it didn't toggle itself on and off with the system theme. So now I'm here and I'm very confused; why would you NOT want the website dark mode switched on & off with the rest of the phones UI dark theme?

Asking for this in iOS too!

This is what keeps me using MS Edge on my phone (and therefore on all my devices due to synchronising data/browsing across my devices).

Over the past year or so, I've been checking back occasionally to see whether this feature has been implemented and I can switch to Vivaldi, but still no luck so far.

can't believe it's still not a thing... just makes no sense that dark mode only changes the browser UI and not the websites 🤯

I switched to Vivaldi to try it out. Works for me so far until the dark theme mode can't be applied automatically based on the OS settings to websites.

                        Please add this feature.

If Samsung can do it, Vivaldi can too !

I don't understand why it's so long and difficult to add this simple option. Especially since there is already a flag that allows you to simply activate it. Vivaldi's settings Are too modified to be able to access the option after activating the flag. It works fine in Chrome and Brave for years now.!
