How secure is your browser?
-
An article in the HelpNet Security Newsletter this morning caught my eye (usually I skim through as its mostly concerned with enterprize concerns whereas my interests are security for the home/casual user) regarding yet another test on the security of your browser by NSS Security.
Just the supects though:
-
Google Chrome – version 81.0.4044.113 – 81.0.4044.138
-
Microsoft Edge – version 83.0.478.10 – 84.0.516.1
-
Mozilla Firefox – version 75.0 – 76.0.1
-
Opera – version 67.0.3575.137 – 68.0.3618.125
Since I rarely use anything but FF, except for testing and Netflix, I'm not sure how current these versions are, but sadly no Vivaldi.

@greybeard , a supposed test that only takes into account 4 of the nearly 50 browsers, I don't think it's objective.
I think a serious computer security company should test all browsers today, just like AVtest does with all AVs. Do it only with 4, it only encourages suspected of being a paid advertisement for an alleged "winner" of this "test".

Totally agree. They are blatantly promotional.
