Incorrect Preview of Inline Code Markdown (Notes)
-
inline code in markdown preview has no background color, even with other themes
-
Gray is a color - well, sort of.
I know, might be too dark for you to spot it, but I can see there is a box around your code. (Then again, I'm constantly saying the same thing about the tab bar in another browser when in dark mode - I can see the difference in color between active and inactive tabs, but most people can't.
If you want to prove it is there, open your screenshot in an image viewer and increase the brightness. If you want to change it in Vivaldi, try the Modding Vivaldi forum - someone should be able to tell you what change to make to the browser's CSS to make the dark gray lighter or maybe a different color entirely.

@sgunhouse The
inline code
has really no background colour—it’s not even in the CSS. -
There is a color in his screenshot, it has to come from somewhere.
-
@sgunhouse Zoomed at 500% (that’s how I check such things ), there’s still no colour
And there’s no colour expected to be

@xxHan1114 Code markdown does have a background colour, and it is different to a quote. Try a different theme. Dark themes often make text difficult to read.

@xxHan1114 Please report this bug on vivaldi.com/bugreport, so the devs could look into it.
Copy the forum thread link to the bug report as well.
