HowTo? Rightclick on a link - Change order
-
When opening a link on a webpage, how can i change the order in witch item is on the top? I want to have it so that all new windows will be opened in the background. And I want it at the top. Is there a way to do that? Attachments:

The best method is to use Ctrl + Click or Middle-click on a link to open it in the background.
Menus are inefficient — they are fine for learning what features a program has, but shortcuts are best once you have memorised them.

By clikcking on a link, it will open in a new tab.
Why do you make the first choice in the rightclick menu the same?I prefer to use the mouse.

By clicking on a link, it will usually open in the current tab, but it depends on the link target properties.
Using the middle-mouse button is using (just) the mouse. Ctrl + Click is not much harder — both are easier than right-click, then move mouse cursor, then left click.

Why not leave it to the individual user what method to prefer for opening tabs in the backgroud?
Opera Presto offered menus (and toolbars) based on .INI files that users could edit to their hearts' content.
It would be great if something like would become available again, to make Vivaldi equally customizable. -

They will continue to do things the slow way if no one tells them of a faster way. The choice will always be made by the user whatever anyone else says, but some do not even know that they have a choice.
Yes, customising menus is important too — I have extensively customised my own Opera 12.17 menus to remove features I never use, and to move those that I do use to be more convenient to access. However, it may be some months before we see this in Vivaldi, so while you're waiting, use Ctrl + Click or Middle-click to get what you want.

Im also one of those who would also prefer the opening in the background option (i dont open into new window or new tab )to be at the top of the menu. Having said that i know shortcuts are quicker…if one is bothered to use it regularly so it second nature. Hopefully this request is something they will do down the track .
