Add Ons, Extensions Where are they?
-
I want to run lastpass adblock and a utube downloader.
I see vivaldi gets last pass OK
I dont find an add on searcher in the settings?
Howw do I add these?
Thanks -
@TyTower The extensions used by Vivaldi are the Chrome extensions. Just go to the Chrome Play Store and select what you want to use. Not all extensions are compatible (mainly those that modify the User Interface or rely on some proprietary Chrome architecture) but a few hundred thousand are.

@TyTower , welcome to our community.
You can add extensions from Chrome Store, or download crx files from GitHub or others and drag them in the Extensions Page for install them (in developer mode). Currently Vivaldi don't have a own Store, maybe in the futureEnjoy Vivaldi

Thank you . Its getting easier . I found Ctl/Shift/E gets into it too.
-
@TyTower , you can add the extensions page also to the Web Panel for easy access.

@Catweazle I see the extension ClearURLs in your list.
It is worthwhile together with UBlockOrigin?
-
@barbudo2005 , currently I only use the Vivaldi Blockers, but with added uBO filters..
Clear URLs don´t block the trackers from the pages, but this in the URLs. This URLS which apart from the page directions, shows a large number of letters and numbers. f.ex. webadress/article/page number/84722437y83y32r32ryrwehrerwrh this last part redirects to a third party site with often your encripted data, and this is what ClearURLs blocks, apart alows to copy the clean URL from the context menu. It´s a good complement for ad and tracking blocker. -
