Bookmarks should store the date/time of the last visit
-
Hi all!
I am quite surprised that after so many years Vivaldi still does not have something apparently as simple (and which existed on old Opera) as storing bookmark's date/time of the last visit. Why would it be useful, to me? I tend to bookmark a lot of pages, some eventually get lost in the crowd. In old Opera I would once in a long while sort them by date of last visit and check a few of the oldest. Some would be dead or not really useful by now - so I would delete, which improves future searches - and sometime I would rediscover a buried and forgotten 'net pearl
Why would it be useful, to you? I don't know... the same? something else? Not at all...? You tell us!
Why I think it is probably not too hard to implement? And thus worth the effort even if it is not a critical feature. Apparently Vivaldi already stores the data, for the History tab, so it only needs using it.

For devs: Firefox has this feature for bookmarks and history.

And so did (does?) Opera

I am not sure how often I'd use it but I can see it's usefulness especially if you can export Bookmarks to SQlite.

+1
This was one of my favorite feature in the old Opera. I had to check several websites with some regularity. So I used it as a "extra task manager" which automatically logged the exact date and time of the last visit and it was very helpful.
To this day I cannot reproduce this feature with any usable solution.
