Picture in Picture (PiP)-setting default size / Remember size
-
If there could be a setting for default pip window size rather than setting it up every time to your desired level, it would be great!

When opening an online video with picture-in-picture, I like to adjust the size and position of the picture-in-picture video, but once I open a new online video, all of these settings are reset, hope that Vivaldi could remember the size and position of the last adjustment. -
@houqiao That is not my experience. For me the PiP video player remembers its size and position until I restart Vivaldi.
That is not ideal, but it is better than having to resize it every time.
I use two monitors. I don't know if that makes any difference.

I am also tired every time to relocate and resize a pip-window. Please either store the last location+size or introduce setting for size & position -
Firefox handles this very well. I've sized and positioned the pop out video once, and now every other one is correctly positioned. In the off chance that I'd like to change it, I can, but 99% of the time it's already where I want it to be. The current behavior has it sized and positioned in a way that isn't very useful.
We could also potentially have a setting for Remember Popout Window Settings: Globally, Per Website, or None.

@pesala Happens on every new tab for me. It also bumps it away from the edge by a certain amount of pixels even if it keeps the size (same tab / new video / same pip player).

@abhimanyu @tommytom2k2
It's possible.
However, it will only run on windows

This +1 has a very powerful aura

Storing the last used size and position of the pip window is being worked on.

This is implemented in the just released snapshot.
