At last!
Congratulations!PS. There is sometimes (really rare) a bug with hover area calculation in speed dial items
Looks like coordinates are shifted in x axisPPS. Bug with showing "Back" button (this small with arrow) in speed dial
Problem happens when I go some folders level deep and go back - arrow tends to disappear in upper levels (but shows again when hovering by cursor)PPPS. Another bug: after entering "vivaldi://vivaldi-urls" the "back button" is disabled
When I enter for example "vivaldi://extensions" the "back button" works as expectedPPPPS. Sometimes speed dial crashes
Result:
Switching to other card back and forth helpsPPPPPS. Double clicking in this area
not only causes maximalization/restoring of window (probably an WinAPI artifact?) but it causes a little mess in button spacing toocauses a little unexpected behaviour in "menu bar" mode -
I've been waiting for this day! Time to switch over for good. Thanks for your hard work!

Congratulations on this Beta. So far it's looking good, but I find it a little slow transitioning from page to page. Hopefully it will improve as I continue to browse.

It works as expected. Double-clicking the tab bar is supposed to maximise/restore the window. The Trash can moves down as it aligns with the tabs, not the window minimise/restore/close buttons.

Ok - i got it - the [+] button just sticks to the tabs and tab size is calculated so the tabs width are equal - so there is no problem with buttong spacing
But…
I use setting with menu bar visible and then (tab bar) <> (main window bar)
This funcion area of effect just looks... inconsistent?I don't think that idea of double-clicking trash bin being connected with opening popup menu and immediate window resizing is so obvious for people….

A great 'hello' to the Vivaldi team and community.
As a first hour Opera user I was very disappointed about the development of the current version - and thus was more than happy to have found Vivaldi! This is exactly the kind of browser I have missed badly …
Thanks for this nice piece of software,

@praxisseizure:
Nice! I'm super impressed. The Vivaldi team answered so many of the community's requests. It's really refreshing to be using such a fast clean browser that I can simply make .. mine. I don't generally check for updates for software but once in a blue moon or perhaps if something breaks along the way. But with this and how nicely it's progressing, I check pretty often.
Great job guys.
PraxThey've not answered all the requests and some of the more important requests which could have made the browser even more appealing. I might have switched to the beta but I'm not until I can utilize the Opera extensions because right now I'm censored by Google so I cannot download video from youtube and I'm not going to use a third party tool just to download videos when I can easily do it in all my other browsers (Yandex, Opera, Waterfox). If there's one thing I hate it's censorship and I absolutely detest the Googleplay area. So for me I'm still going to use Opera until Vivaldi has a youtube downloader. I also find the font choice for Vivaldi is terrible for windows and looks even more guff on Linux so I hope they use better and clearer fonts at some point. That audio icon on the right of the tab annoys me as it should be on the left like in Opera.

Congrats! I love this browser. Please keep up this good work!

Problems
Bookmark properties panel
On the Bookmarks panel, I click the New Folder icon. The bottom part of the panel changes to a folder property interface where I can add title, description, etc. Then I'm face with two problems. First, I see no way to close the folder property interface, other than exiting Vivaldi and restarting. Second, the folder properties interface is so big I can barely see the bookmark folder tree. it is easy to lose sight of the new folderBookmark sorting
Every time I start Vivaldi it is set to sort the bookmarks manually, even if I changed this during the previous session. -

Hi,
I'm using 1.0.344.37 (Beta 2) (32-bit) under Windows 7 and I do not fin the option to NOT REMEMBER passwords which was present before, and is present in Ubuntu version. For security paranoiac guys it's a blessing.I'm not sure if I'm missing it or it's not there but I would like a way to prevent autofiling.
Finally, how do I set it up such that it does not start playing media automatically?Thank you.
-
Hi,
Concerning password saving and autofill, using version 1.0.380.2 for Windows (32-bit), I still do not see any options in the settings to disable or adjust these features. If you don't want websites to remember your login data, then I'm afraid you're gonna have to tell the browser what you want, every time it shows a popup dialog asking you whether to save the data or not.
Seeing that both features are pretty common in most browsers, I'm quite sure that it won't take very much longer for them to receive some more attention from the developers, concerning their customizability.
As for preventing embedded media to start playing by themselves, this is something that hasn't yet been added to the settings either, but can be controlled quite nicely through the use of extensions, such as Flashcontrol, which prevents Flash content from loading unless you allow it.
Hope this is somewhat helpful.

yes, i have the same problem. I'd love to have an option to avoid asking for password saving completely
i love this browser!
