Menus on Ubuntu Unity

Hi, on Ubuntu Unity, the menus are not properly drawn. Here a Screenshot of how it is (vivaldi-menu) and how it should be (unity-menu). The vivaldi-menu wastes one more row of space Attachments: ,

It's quiet important issue for us, unity users. Especially as it also allows us to use HUD features.
You wouldn't release a Mac OS version without global menus, would you? ;)

that would be really nice; hope to see it in the future :)

I agree the menu needs better integration with unity. I for one like using the button for accessing the menu.

Native menus on Ubuntu unity are an absolute must for me using vivaldi. That and an open source licence and you will have me.

+1 for me. The menu has been implemented on OS X and works as expected. Not quite a deal breaker for me that it's not the same on Linux (in particular, Unity), but it would be nice to have the same functionality.

First message here, but this will definitely be a good feature to implement.
