[macOS][Settings] Make silent autoupdate ON by default: can be disabled in settings (VB-65832)

A new section solely for updates settings seems rather excessive. I'd suggest moving it over to general, as it contains one toggle for auto updates

[Sync] Make various UI settings syncable (VB-66172)

Can we get some details on which new settings are now syncable?

@AltCode Look at the updates section on Windows… (only 1 checkbox to check for updates unless something has changed)

(and it’s been like this for long time)

@potmeklecbohdan I had no idea Windows already had this, but my point still stands though.

I hope you had some time for rest after 3.0 release (it looked like you all had a lot of overtime), but please next time publish a snapshot that has includes all the changes that the stable release includes. I don't want to switch my primary browser just because suddenly stable is ahead of the snapshot version (not sure about it, but I believe that until yesterday Stable was also ahead on Android?!).

And again, thank you for fixing VB-65003, whoever did it!

                        CTRL + F and "Panels" = disappointment.

Any chance you could merge the Adblock/site permissions buttons, to tidy up the address bar? And/or fix drag and dropping website shortcuts from the address bar (more or less broken on Windows)

[UI] Only focusable elements in popup should be focused via Tab key (VB-66786)

uhm, this introduced a regression I think, if search field is shown as button, pressing ctrl-K to pop it up, the search engine icon is focused instead of the edit field, and I have to press Tab to focus it. It works if search field is shown always next to the address field.

This haven't happened since a long time to me, but after this update I now have a second Bookmarks folder (mine was already called Bookmarks and it seems untouched) with 5 sponsored bookmarks. I didn't even know you can make multiple bookmark folders with the same name 🙂
This shouldn't really happen, tho. Don't do it.

@Gwen-Dragon Not true, 1874.27 was fine, and before the 2-3 months of buggy snapshots with the Chrome notifications, the rest of the earlier snapshots were fine as well.
The notifications bug was fixed and now it got broken yet again.

Go to vivaldi://flags/#enable-native-notifications and switch it to "Enabled".

@nikles1991 Snapshots always had the issue to use non-native (internal Chromium) notifications.

Not entirely correct. Snapshots used to have native desktop notifications by default, but it disappeared a couple of versions ago. I've since turned on the flag I linked above and native notifications are working perfectly.

In arch Linux, we have to download a 500 Mb something FFmpeg codex for Vivaldi to access sounds. Although there is one more repo providing pretty small package. But can it be included in the browser setup itself?
Even adding widevine thingy, it first downloads chrome/chromium deb of size 100mb or so then extracts from it.
