OPen Tabs in background

I made a switch to Vivaldi from Chrome and I expected Vivaldi to have most the features of Chrome, but was disappointed to see that Vivaldi doesnt even understand that users DO NOT want to go to the new tab whenever they open a link in a new tab. You guys defeat the whole purpose of opening a link a new tab, IF you DONT open it in BACKGROUND. Please provide a fix to this behaviour ASAP.

May I suggest to open at least the forum in foreground.
