Minor update (2) for Vivaldi Desktop Browser 3.0
-
@kened , the big companies in the US and China certainly do not stand out for their privacy policy, but several tests have shown that Opera is perhaps the browser that least respects privacy. of all, much less still than Chrome or Edge, which at least in the EC meet certain minimum conditions.
Anyway I prefer to avoid Google, Facebook & cia as much as possible always. -
Ok, it arrived. Now I own one

@RuarĂ , nice, but E=mgh, be careful, the asphalt is hard.
-
@catweazle: Haven't fallen yet. Ok, I have only cycled it for a little over an hour total.

@kened Go to Settings, Search, and either disable the Search Field, or Show it as as button.
Since there is already a Status Bar clock that can be moved to the Address Bar (hold shift), I don't think a clock is needed on the Speed Dial.
-
A weather widget by its nature could only be optional, given the privacy settings, since it necessarily involves geolocation if we want local data.
-
@kened Change the UI Zoom, or apply a mod to increase the font size

@kened , with my public IP they know only my country and where are the server of my ISP, but not my exact location.
My exact data is naturally known to my ISP and my bank, but certainly other sites don't have to know them.
Failure to maintain minimal privacy can result in a security risk, so maintaining minimal discretion and protection has nothing to do with paranoia.
The bad thing is not that big companies collect my data, the bad thing is that they sell it to third parties and from there you don't know in what more hands, not necessarily honest. -
81.0.4044.138: mainly a security fix.
