-
@mozzer: Noooooo...
-
@olli: Looser :p
-
@mozzer: LOL!
-
Great,finally Vivaldi did address the issue (VB-65987),the video sites hanging is really bothered me.
-
Great to see people confirming this fix worked, kudos to the devs working in the weekend to get it fixed
-
Repeating my previous reply, I sure hope that after the 3.0 release, the team will finally get around to dealing with the backlog of various requests. There is so much to do, so much to see.
-
I like how the browser is developing so far. Hope to see more additions to the Blocker in the future, because currently it is very affected by all these loud anti adblock stuff.
And on the side note: one thing which bugs me a little. To test the beta, I installed it in another folder and I'm using dedicated shortcut to it and yet, stable version of Vivaldi is opening instead.
-
@nicolasdominique In this case, when you install Vivaldi Beta, you must take into account that Vivaldi Beta is installed as a "standalone" version.
-
@stardepp yes, I know it's standalone. But still, even if I'm using the shortcut to my Vivaldi beta version, few times stable Vivaldi was turned on instead. Just wondered why it could happen.
-
please give us the option to block only ads without trackers
-
@nicolasdominique: yeah, I've seen this a few times, too. I'm unable to nail it down, though. So repro steps would be very appreciated!
-
@JohnnyFire Do you mean to have the ad block sources, but not the track block sources?
You can do this already - just go into settings > privacy > blocking > click on the manage sources button, and remove all the tracker sources.
-
@JohnnyFire You could uncheck tracker lists while in "ads&tracker" mode in meanwhile. //edit: ninj-ed
-
@lonm: i missed that, i already made that!
-
@Gwen-Dragon on desktop.
-
No problem with Linux (Mageia 7) on desktop
-
No more crashes
-
@nicolasdominique Hello,
Can you right-click to get the properties of the shortcut (assuming you're on windows), and see what the "Target" is - to double check it is definitely pointing to the correct exe
