an hour ago I thought there must be a new snapshot this morning
-
I need to add my mods back on a daily basis.

Good morning everybody!
Grateful for the new features, but can anyone let us know whether any love is being given to long standing and very basic bugs in functionality?
I'm thinking specifically of being able to use up/down arrows in the searchbox suggestions list. Toggling NumLock is not a viable workaround!
I just imagine new users discovering Vivaldi thinking "this looks like a cool browser", and then thinking, "... but if they can't get the basics right, maybe I'll go back to Chrome"

Could the current year still be shown on the watch with the date display? That would be very useful.

@cheekybuddha Adding clocks is more necessary.
-
I didn't play much around with the clock in the last time.
is it a normal behaviour, that I get 2 notifications when an alarm/countdown is ready?
and thanks for a sound notification

Press tab (or shift-tab) to cycle through suggestions
P.S. AFAIK Chrome has no search box at all. They have the omnidropdown only where this works the same as ours with regards to arrow keys

@derday: And you were right!

I really like version 3.0
Waiting for release ... -
OK, @Ruarí , thank you.
But it is hardly intuitive.
Is this the final solution from the devs?
Where else in any UI can you not use up/down arrows to traverse the list of a dropdown?
-
@stardepp Did you post this suggestion here by mistake? This post is about the latest snapshot of the mobile version of Vivaldi, not the desktop one.
-
The sounds work just fine, but there are still two alert notifications. Probably users do not need any popup notification dialogues (which have to be dismissed), if they have enabled the audible alarm, though that is a moot point.
-
@infosrefanvlad Wrong, this is about desktop snapshot, you title above.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Okay, and thanks for fixing this.
-
I just created a feature request about the year display at the clock:

search box suggestions and navigation with cursor movement is possible but only if you don't have numlock/capslock/scroll lock active. This is a long standing BUG reported (I think) several times and I'm baffled it's still there, apparently ignored by the devs.

i wish for the day that we can mod every ascpect of the vivaldi like dialogs, tooltips and the rest to make it more proper in the eye...i dream for that day....
-
i wonder if we will finally have M3 next week ;3
and i hope after all this time not using any mail client it will be actually a feature that i'd use instead of gmail UI
