-
In today’s snapshot we add information on blocked sites to the blocker shield icon popup in the address bar.

(VB-64179) When I start Vivaldi, the browser shows an empty menu
Unfortunately, this bug is still not fixed.
Please fix the notes parser to prevent this bug! Thank you. -
This snapshot fixed my missing favicons reported in VB-6460 - you can close that one!
Thanks much Vivaldi Team!

[New][Blocker][Address Bar] Add information on blocked sites in shield icon popup (VB-64868)
does this mean, that within the tooltip there's now the information, that ad blocker is active? because this state was already seen in the other color before
-
Great work, still waiting a fix for extensions shortcuts not working "in vivaldi" mode.
-
I......... love....... you!
-
Nice, I like the progress on the adblockers
-
The new content blocker icon is great! You are doing a wonderful job collecting all the info about sites in the address bar, with the shield and the padlock, although the design is not very consistent yet.
It would be nicer though, if the shield and the "Blocked content" icon, in the right of the address bar, about cookies, were integrated in the same place someway, the info seems a bit splited now.

Thanks for the fix for VB-63938 - works much better now!

ok, since Ornom posted a screenshot I can say, that I don't get this information every time. It works always in a guest window, but sometimes in my main account, see screenshot (above is my main account) (link from examplesite)
after taking this screenshot, also my bookmarks bar disappeared although the checkbox was enabled. After dis/enabling the checkbox, the bookmarks bar worked again
I would make a bugreport, but I don't know how to reproduce this error
-
Although the visibility of the bookmarks bar is turned on, it disappears, but you have to turn it back on in the menu. Has anyone experienced this?
-
@derDay Try closing Vivaldi, go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Default and rename AdBlockState in AdBlockState.old
Restart Vivaldi and see what happens. -
Thanks for the new build.
Everything works great besides that annoying native Windows 10 notification bug that persists for weeks now. Hope it can get fixed, the Chrome notifications are quite inferior. -
@zoli62: Confirmed
Win10x64 Vx64
-
@zoli62: Yes, bookmarks bar wasn't shown after update. Try the menu option a few times to bring it back.

on macOS 10.15.3 there's a lot of keyboard shortcuts that are not working. I reported the one about notes panel before. I don't know if you guys able to see it. is it possible to fix them? or am I having an isolate issue?
-
Crash at startup again. Linux x86_64.
-
@Folgore101
thanks for the hint but doesn't change something -
@AXK Go to Settings, Webpages, and disable Use Tab Zoom. Each website will then remember your preferred webpage zoom for that site.
-
@zoli62 I also noticed this issue on updating. Hopefully, it won't happen repeatedly.
Go to Settings, Keyboard, and enable single-key shortcuts.
- Assign "s" to View, Status Bar
- Assign "b" to View, Bookmarks Bar
Then you can easily deal with such problems by using BS
Edit: On restarting Vivaldi, the Bookmarks Bar was shown, so it does seem to be a one time only issue.
