Blocker List Management – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1854.5
Thanks for all the work. Please add an option to always open a link in the same tab. Maybe as a mouse shortcut. Thanks.
Right-click -> Open Linkalways opens in the same tab. Would be more convenient if it was possible to bind this to left click/middle click (I think there is a feature request here on the forum for that), but at least it works this way.
@npro: Sure, you can use the OS's hosts file, but that brings another problem, it will be applied in EVERY application (which can break stuff), plus, once a page show loading problems due to ad blocking, disabling the ad block on that page is easy and fast, but remove the properly line in hosts file? I don't think so
So, yeah, if uBlock Origins (probably the most respected ad blocking extension out there) have support for hosts file, it sure has to do with ad blocking tools.
I personally don't use any "hosts format only" list, but having more options = better

@pathduck: Good suggestion, although this might not always be the right colour - i.e. my accents right now are in blue.

@killchain That's true, they should probably just make it red, I guess it's pretty universal. But then you'd get people complaining that the colour for not found doesn't match their "theme"
When HTTP Basic Auth is requested it immediately crashes the browser. Has this been reported?

I have noticed this as well
I have 2 (served on local LAN) sites requiring basic auth - it seems only one causes the crash.
I have to remember to close the tab before closing and restarting V.
